Promoting research & researchers
SIRAC is responsible for coordinating Ph.D. activities of the Somaiya Vidyavihar University.
SIRAC is a Research Centre for Ph.D. programmes in Life Sciences and Biotechnology.
Infrastructure, facilities and support team to guide and assist in research projects under various disciplines.
Guidance and preparation of lay-summary, content development for research website/brochure/flyer/presentations for research activities, editing manuscripts, supervision of proposal submissions to funding agencies, coordinating expert/guest talks, research programmes and activities, assistance for IPR filing.

Somaiya Institute for Research and Consultancy (SIRAC) is a constituent college of Somaiya Vidyavihar University (SVU). The Exam Cell at SIRAC is responsible to execute examinations of all programmes offered at SIRAC. It is also a part of the Center of Examination (CoE) of SVU. The exam cell prepares and displays examination timetables, coordinates and executes In-Semester and End-Semester Examinations, preparation of result gazette and executes all relevant work connected to examinations. The examinations are scheduled in line with the academic calendar of SVU.

Somaiya Vidhyavihar truly harbors unique power to convene the brightest minds to work on the most eccentric ideas. I believe it is our responsibility to use these resources to catalyze a positive impact in society. We are committed to bringing a strong synergy of education, research, and community engagement.
My aim as a Dean - Research would be to promote the Technology, Innovation and Education (TIE) Programs and also nurture creative leaders across disciplines. As a Director SIRAC, I desire to establish an ecosystem of research teams where biologists, clinicians, chemists, engineers, and statisticians will be working on a similar platform to create innovative intersections of research and strengthen our knowledge to improve healthcare delivery. The interdisciplinary research intends to foster a unique and dynamic culture of collaboration, curiosity, and ambition at SIRAC which will further promote and accelerate groundbreaking discovery in the advancement towards cancer vaccines, precision medicine, molecular diagnostics, bioengineering, and artificial intelligence.
