IT-Networking Systems

"Information Systems seldom exist in isolation, the main purpose of building information systems is data processing. The Information system will be able to do data processing only if there is communication of information to and fro from it. The Information systems connect to other systems, users, communication devices through digital interconnections designed in hardware and software. The communication rules for resource sharing and interconnectivity are implemented in the form of networking protocols. The interconnected Computer Information Systems are called Networking systems.

The Networking systems have evolved from primitively connected systems to grids, clusters, distributed, wireless, mobile and clouds to the modern-day Internet, Internet of things, software defined networks and software defined data centres. This research area focuses on specializations related to design and implementation of Networking systems. The focus is also on securing access and secured information storage on these systems."
